Acquisition of Creole Languages

In this first book of its kind, Dany Adone demonstrates how children acquire Creoles as their first language and how this differs from the acquisition of non-Creole languages. She shows that in the absence of a conventional language model, Creole children acquire language and go beyond the input they receive.
