Lagrangian And Hamiltonian Mechanics

This work takes the student from the Newtonian mechanics to the areas of more recent research. Discussion topics include invariance, Hamiltonian-Jacobi theory and action-angle variables. The final chapter introduces the dynamics of nonlinear non-dissipative systems.
