Latin American Perspectives on the Sociology of Health and Illness

This book brings together some of the most promising work in the sociology of health and illness originating in Latin America. The chapters in this book were originally published as a Special Issue of Health Sociology Review, and as individual papers in Global Public Health, and Critical Public Health.
