Oil Economy of Kuwait

The economy of Kuwait is dependent on oil. This future problem is aggravated by the unusually large proportion of skilled immigrant labour in the country. Dr Al-Sabah’s analysis of the economy of Kuwait, first published in 1980, puts forward suggestions that would remedy the problems of this dual dependence.
