Politics of the Male Body in Global Sport

This book analyses the relationship between globalisation, politicisation and 'masculinisation' within the field of European sport in Denmark covering early individualistic action, German occupation politics during World War II, and the Beijing games of 2008. It was published as a special issue of the International Journal of the History of Sport.
